Fall Tilda

While cleaning my drawers I found this two pieces of chipboard and they seemed to work together so well. The green one was already painted from few month back when I though of using it as a part of a layout but it never made it into the completed project. I purposedly left smears on the brown one to achieve more country farm feel.

I usually work with square cards and this sketch gave me opportunity to play with different format. I felt little uneasy at first but soon overcame the feeling and found working with the sketch very enjoyable.

Beautiful Fall

Every season has its beauty. Winter is white and peaceful, spring full of new live, summer usually means vacation and tons of fun, and fall brings the drama of crimson foliage against golden grass. I love working with warm earth toned fall colors. For this particular card I used stamps by Outlines. They offer a great line of designs that are meant to be cut and layered. The possibilities are endless.
